I sat, scrunched up in the corner. No one noticed I was still here when they left. I had not pretended. I had just sat in corner. I knew they would find me. The scientist. He would test me, while the others excaped. I stod, and bean walking round the room, parasol up, just walking. A door opened, and a shout came. People came rushing in. I smiled sweetly, fluttering my eyelashes. The typical seducion routine.
A scientist came in, and began checking me over with gusto. I knew, if I was killed, used, that the others would get away. They had taken no heed of me. No care. And now I was left behind. Waiting for them to realize, waiting for the experiments to start. At least the others would be safe.
