"Then your training will begin tomorrow, young one," said Nazara. Plantagonox began moving towards the exit. Aria followed him. Since they had entered the temple, it had started raining, and Agonox held a partially open wing over Aria to keep her dry.
They walked in silence for a long time, then Aria asked, "How many of you are there?"
Wittily, Agaonox replied, "Only one of me. But I am assuming you mean dragons. There are only a few dozen of us. You have seen me fight though, so you know that even a few dozen is a force to be reckoned with."
Aria continued to question him, and he continued to answer. Eventually they came to a large outcropping. Agonox nudged aside some boulder with his nose, and a steep tunnel was revealed. Aria climbed atop his back, and he began walking down it.
"Welcome to my humble home," he said, as they entered the main chamber, "You will likely be staying at the temple after tonight, but I will be here for quite a while. It is customary for a Knight who takes an apprentice to train them, but I cannot teach you magic. Once you are ready, then we will set out to help the world."
