Spook: Third Time's the Charm
I scrambled onto Del's boat like a somewhat panicked goat. Most of the others took my inituitive and followed, but I didn't really notice anything. Del looked at me strangely as inspected my fingers.
"Odd." I thought, waggling my digits experimentally. "Why are my fingers tingling?"
"I think that's the least of your problems." said Del. "You're glowing."
"I'm WHAT?"
I looked down and, sure enough, I was indeed glowing. I blinked stupidly, not altogether sure what to make of this newest development. Glowing in the dark wouldn't do me much good anywhere as far as I could tell. Besides, I'd never sleep if my own fingers would wake me up every ten seconds. Ah well, at least I wasn't sparkling.
"What on earth... oh. I see." I grinned and looked at Del and Crystal.
Grinning like a maniac and still glowing like a lightbulb, I pulled the most riduculous pose I could think of and said in a deep, supposed-to-be-dramatic voice.
"I am ... the THIRD Argonaut!"
Del rolled her eyes, but I could see she was smirking. I did a little happy jig, boots thudding onto the deck of Del's little raft like a horde of clumsy elephants. Then another thought broke into my little bubble of happiness and I looked at Del again.
"This glowing thing isn't permenant, right?"
