Evan was a fantasic cook, I'd give him that. The food tingled every taste bud in my mouth and I was sad to finish.
As we argued about the star wars films and then ended up watching them on the sofa, I began to feel so comfortable, so warm with Evan that I didn't mind when he pulled me to him. When I felt him bury his face in my neck I stilled, feeling the heat rise in my stomach and my breathing change. Evan's hands slipped down my side and he kissed under my jaw, and the warmth turned to a boil that reached my cheeks. I turned to face him and saw his face was filled with anxious anticipation; I realised the next step was up to me.
Slowly I reached up my hand and stroked the side of his face, and then leaned in forn a kiss. His lips were soft, warm, and exceedingly good at kissing. For a moment he held back, and then his lips were urgent, and I reacted, my fingers running through his hair and allowing him to pull me closer on to his muscled chest.
I was gasping for air when he finally released me, and had to put a cautioning hand on his chest to allow him to let me breathe.
"Are you alright?" He asked, his hands still twisted in to my curls. His eyes were so sincere, so caring that I felt myself melting in to them.
"Yes, I'm fine." I whispered, running my thumb over his lips.
"I don't want to go to fast for you..."
"You're not." I kissed him a few more times, not on the lips, because I was afraid I'd never be released again if I did, and then snuggled in to him, putting my hand in his.
He rubbed circles in to my skin, and I tried to focus on the screen. I lasted only a few moments before I turned back to him.
"Stop it." I whispered, my nose almost brushing his.
"Stop what?" The cheeky grin was back, and I couldn't help but smile.
"You know what." I kissed him again, on the lips, slowly.
"I can't help myself." he muttered.
"Maybe I should move to the other end of the sofa...?" I teased, and his grip tightened.
"No, I'll be good." His eyes told me he would be anything but if he could, but I snuggled in to him again, and sighed contently. Two films later, and the door opened.
"Evan?" Dilila had come home from wherever she'd been and I felt Evan stir as he heard her.
"We're in here." He called, and I could have sworn I heard a groan coming from the door. Then Dilila appeared and saw us curled up together.
