I sat around, just sort of watching the goings on in the house. I couldn't help but be amused at Sparx's antics. Firstly his prank on Sola, whilst cruel, was also kind of funny. Then he found out he was a father. It was like some kind of ironic joke. Before I could say anything, I sensed something I never thought I would again: Fey people, outside. I ran out and sure enough, hidden from most things, there was a group of Fey watching the place. There was one in particular I recognised.
"Lilth!" I cried happily, running to my greet best friend. We dated once, but sort of fell into friends-with-benefits. He hugged me tight. "I thought you were dead. We heard about vampires round here so we came to take a look. Why didn't you come home? We've been worried sick."
"Sorry," I said. "I came here because I was injured, and I got caught up in things here. A group of suicidals attacked not long ago."
Lilth nodded. "We saw. You defended the vampire."
"It was that or have them kill me later!" I cried.
"The Queen doesn't see it that way. She sent this last night." He handed me a heavy roll. Opening it, I saw it was an Order of Exile. I was exiled from the Fey for 100 years.
I looked up at Lilth, tears in my eyes. "What do you think about this?" I demanded, shaking the roll at him.
"I think its going to be a while before we see each other again." He said sadly. He then handed me a bracelet. "We can keep in touch with this." I took it, but didn't put it on.
"Thats why you were really here then. I did what I had to in order to survive. I know more than anyone how much damage the vampires did in the Wars, I lost everyone except you! Everyone. Yet the first chance she gets, the Queen exiles one of her last remaining Hunters. Who is going to protect the Fey now?"
"Ravyn.." Lilth began.
"No. I don't want to hear anymore. I'm going. I'll be in touch..maybe." With that, I turned and walked back to the house, angry tears in my eyes. I felt a sting to my wrist and saw a Mark apear there. Its was the Fey symbol for 'outcast'. It was like a physical blow, seeing there on my skin. I had been so loyal, done so much. One mistake and I had lost it all. It wasn't fair. I ran upstairs, planning to go to my room, but I went past Sparx's room, and he was looking a little lost.
"Is everything okay?" I asked, standing in the door.
