Kalea: Musings

I'm sitting in the middle of my bed, legs crossed, staring at the door. On the other side, I know there's a pixie, a poltergeist, a Land Siren and a kind of doll. This has got to be the biggest collection of different magical species I have ever met.

Room Two is quite bare, but I like it. I’ve already collected some plants from outside and draped them around the room. When I close my eyes at night, I can hear their voices whispering to me, healing me. I like that there are other people around me. The poltergeist’s bubbly mood seems always to put a smile on my face.

I haven’t had a chance to talk to everyone yet. I’ve spoken to the poltergeist (well sort of. I was very scared on my first day here) and Ali left me that note. I felt so bad after I read it. I shouldn’t be afraid of her, just because of the stereotype of the pixie is bad. I should know better. I’m going to explain to her that I am a fairy. I haven’t really explained that to anyone yet.

I feel I should start exploring soon. I wonder what kind of a place this is. Anyway, it’s exciting enough.

I uncross my legs and open the door. Time to face my new life.

The End
