The Book

I sat there, in the corner bewildered by what had just happend not to long ago. Something had tried to attack me, already. Was if from the five? Would it hurt them; Kian, Sealanthus and the others? Would any of my questions be answered?

I somehow wander out of my thoughts and look at the book in my hand. Ironically, it's a bible. I open it randomly near the end. And the first verse that caught my eye. Revelations 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be nor more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain." How, coincidental that I should be given this verse while I am here.

I look up from the thrilling secrets hidden within the book, of which Raziel told me every one, to watch Kian dance. He was moving quickly, like lightning as the radio spouted music.

I look directly at him, and then Sealanthus walked to me.

"Your eyes are cool."

"Yes, the right one is green to remind me of joy; the left one is purple to remind me of magic."

"So, you're a fallen angel right?"

"That is the truth. I was sent to wander through time protecting a young woman named Kate, it seemed the whole universe depended upon her gifts. But, we fell in love, and when she died, I returned to heaven. Only to have God cast me out for loving her."

"Harsh."

"Indeed, yet it appears he has not relinquished his hand from my life. For some reason, I am still immortal, and I still have control over the element of wind. These things I do not understand, but they help."

"You have power over wind? That's cool!"

"Heh, indeed." Especially when you can use the wind to hide you from prying eyes.

"Well, I'll leave you to your book now."

"Thank you, my friend. But perhaps you can tell me a bit about yourself?"
