Ara did not like the sound of this plan at all. It just seemed so unrealistic and dangerous, not to mention ridiculous. How were they supposed to take on an army of Shadows? They were hardly a fighting force, no matter how strong they were.
But, then again, part of him was excited at the prospect. It had been a long time since he'd had a fight with anything aside from kitched appliances and his primordial instincts were getting restless. He wanted something to fight. Even better if it was something he could get his heels into.
Shadows would do just fine for him.
But none the less, he was also scared. What if the plan failed? What if someone got hurt? What if the Shadows beat them and turned all those they could into members of their army?
What if they killed those they couldn't change?
No. They wouldn't win. Even if they lost, the Shadows wouldn't win. No-one here would give into them, that Ara was sure of. If they stood together and held true to their friendship, then there was nothing that could stand in their way.
"Alright," he said, looking at the ground for a few moments before raising his gaze again, the light of excitement gleaming in the venom-yellow depths: "So, who has a plan?"
