Mmmm. I went into the kitchen, wondering whether it was stocked. I opened the fridge-freezer - it seemed to be exclusively full of icecream.
"Looks good," I said aloud. "But personally I'd have prefered something a bit more savoury and filling ... like bread and cheese." I turned away, wondering where I'd get the ingredients for cheese on toast, one of my favourite meals.
I came to no conclusions, so looked back at the fridge. It was now filled with loaves of bread and blocks of cheese.
From my pocket I took a haribo. There was only one of them, but it was something. I placed it on the tiny bronze panel inside the fridge door.
"Thanks," I said.
