What about Frieda?

OK, This is getting terribly annoying now.

Does everyone forget about the talking frog in the corner???

HELLLO! Still here!!!

I cleared my throat. Still the conversation continued.

"Excuse me..." my voice was drowned out by my colleages arguements.

"Hello?" again- lost in the noise

That got their attention.

"Thank you! Now, I think that we are in a bit of a sticky situation. I believe that if we all work together on this one, we can all get back to our respective authors, and get back to our-"

I looked up. Everyone was staring at me.

The weird girl with multiple arms was first to regain the ability to speak.

"Don't you get it? We're abandoned! We've been left on our own! Our Authors don't want us any more! They don't have any stories that will fit us! YOU'RE NEVER GETTING BACK TO YOUR AUTHOR!"

I was shocked. Never see my Queen again?

"You must be mistaken, child, I am sure that if we can get back there-"

This time the woman of the odd looking couple answered.

"There is no getting back. We're stuck here forever. Until someone chooses to use us in another new story." she smiled sympathetically

"So you're going to have to get used to us all." added her partner.

For the first time, I surveyed my fellow captives.

A girl with a horn, funny teeth and a tail.

A couple, one red like fire, one blue like the sea

A random girl with loads of arms sprouting and going away every few seconds

How was I ever going to survive with these weirdos!

I wished more than ever that I had gone down the rainbow-signed path. The teddies and cuddly toys of kiddy stories and places that didn't swallow you up and not let go looked pretty good from my perch on the coffee table...

The End
