The Vampire And The Hatter: Chapter Three
The Vampire And The Hatter.
Chapter Three:
In The Rose Garden.
Noticing him raise his cup from the corner of her eye, Georgia followed and quickly picked up her own teacup carefully, pretending to be involved completely in drinking her tea to avert his attention. He smirked, letting out a small breath as to cool down the tea before taking in a quiet sip, not letting his gaze falter he watched her drink her own tea. However, his stare was more than just a stare. It was as if he knew something. Like no words needed to be said.
"Ah!" Finally a gasp was released from the servent, abruptly breaking the daunting silence, attracting her gaze to him insantly. "Do you know...Why a Raven, is like a writing desk?" He asked strangely delicately. With a blink, Georgia, not sure whether to laugh or take his question seriously, finally stuttered. "...I... havent the slightest idea." She chuckled, knowing he didn't mean for the silly riddle to go anywhere, but thought she may as well answer it just to get a conversation started. Retruning the laugh with a warm yet gentle grin, his crimson gaze only became more intense, more deep. "Aha, I see. Tell me, dearest, do you...Not have anyone else to spend this lovely evening with?" He asked calmly, his voice curious, yet knowing. He held his cup halfway up to his mouth, waiting for her reply. Indeed, she knew what he meant by saying teh such, but passed off the thought quickly. "...I guess not. It isn't that i do not have anyone to spend it with...I suppose I just want to get to know you better." She closed her eyes calmly, returning to the Tea, pretending as if he didn't ask the foolish question.
He closed his mouth, his lips closed shut. He let his gaze linger on for a tad bit longer, before he blinked and looked down at his tea, starring at his own reflection, as if taking everything in. He slowly lifted the cup to his lips and took a deep sip, taking in the warmth of the tea, letting out a sigh as he placed his cup down. "...I See..." he mumbled, a finger coming up to his lips, his eyes closed.
Georgia looked up suddenly at the silence coming from him, she blinked a few times before breaking the aura. "...I-Im sorry, did I say something wrong?" She said with deep concern in her voice. His eyes widened a little to the concern coming from her, as if disturbed from a trance all of a sudden. "Ah..! N..No. Milady, I'm perfectly fine...." He reassured her with his usual warm grin returning, one which could melt anyones heart...As it was doing so to her. A light shade of pink spread across her cheeks instantly at the slight relief that his grin had finally returned. Almost as if she had missed it... 'Hmph. Blushing and keeping so quiet wont get me anywhere..!' With the thought, she stood from her seat and walked over to his side of the table, gently grabbing his hand casually as if she had known him for ages, with a light tug toward her she began. "Shall we...head off for a walk then? If you want that is...Our garden is most beautiful, especially on a fine day as this one." Her smile was pure and warm, even though her heart was beating faster than before for some reason...Was she really falling for this man she hardly knew? What on earth would she do if so?!
