I saw the new guy get chosen, and pretty much saw my chance with Eloise go down the toilet. I tried to be nice.

“Eyy,” I said.

“Hi,” New Guy said.

“What’s your name?”

“Cethin.”

“Hell, that’s a new one.” It really was. I held out my hand. “Julius. Nice to meet you.”

He shook my hand with strength, but not enthusiasm. I decided not to give him any crap.

“Introduce yourselves, friends,” I said. I walked away.

A war between two lands ragged for years till finally it settled. It settled cause the God and Goddess of Darkness and Light united and sprung a fountain onto a mountain in a sacred holy temple. This temple grew and became the place of the training of Guardians. The warriors who held more war and bloodbath at bay. They protected both lands from harm.

Appearance: Short cut, ruffled, black hair with hints of blue in. Bright, sharp, icy blue eyes. Tanned skin which fits his strong features. Athletic built, so muscular and standing at 6"1. His looks have sort of a dark, forbidden beauty to them and its very alluring to many people.
Background: His family was killed when he was three and he was taken into the house of his best friend, Kiera. She and her family kept in strong till the point he had to leave to the temple. Before leaving he discovered Kiera's true feelings for him that he can't return to her because while he loves her he sees her as a sister.
Other: Is slightly arrogant. Has a horse called Miara whose midnight black coat is a soft as rose petals. He is commonly called a gentleman. Has always known he'd become a Guardian since he has a talent in Telepathy.

Appearance: Skin is pale with a slightly blue tinge to it. Eyes are the exact turqouise of a calm ocean, but when in a bad mood they go a dull gray. Brown curly hair.
Background: Suffers from retro amnesia, so she cannot remember anything since she was 17. She is homeless and has no family she can recall of. So she goes to the temple in order for a better life.
Other: Is unaware of her powers, but knows she is somewhat different. Likes to be close to the water.

Appearance: Long blonde hair going slightly towards the red side, and glowing golden eyes. Looks rather skinny yet he has incredible dexterity. He is around 5"9.
Background: As a child he was brought up by a poor family, living in a slum that was later destroyed by a volcanic eruption. He survived and it is unknown to him why. But after the accident he noticed some power over fire.
Other: He doesn't trust very easily and he isnt good at getting friends either. Most of the time he can be found on his own practising his archery and magic.

Appearance: short Spiky shiny red hair, Light blue eyes that seems to have something swirling in the iris. Light skin complexion, lightly scarred face.
Background:His parents abandoned him at the age of two and since then his fellow villagers have always hated, and feared him for unknown reasons. As he grew up the fear was replaced by excluded and disliked. Since then he has strived for acceptance, and doesn't know when to give up.
Other:Is short tempererd. Believes he is the best. When people spend long periods of time with him however he has the strange way of making them change their worldly views and also make them bet on him. Is extremely hyper. has a huge amount of stamina. Despite his depressing past he is happy and has made three vows Never give up, never shed a tear of sadness, Keep smiling.

Appearance: Brown hair, a bit of stubble.
Background: Born from a great hero and a normal woman. His father died during the pregnancy, dying at the same time as his arch nemesis. His mother caused him to hate magic, hoping that he would not meet his father's fate. He longed to leave and see the world, and ended up training the longsword for eight years. He met a great mentor that taught him how to channel magic through his blade. When his mother found out, she left, leaving so that she would not see him die.
Other: Is working on a single non-elemental attack, called the Shield Smash. It uses a shield (Julius' silver-coated kite-shield) to break down a magical shield, also dealing minor damage.
