There is a theory that you can work out the whole storyline of a novel just from reading the first sentence.

Now, this is probably complete and utter rubbish, but let's see, shall we? Put it to the test?

So, this is how it's going to work:

I will give you three beginning sentences. You will decide which one you like the look of the most, and then write a brief synopsis of that story. You will then come up with three more sentences for the next person.

I didn't at first think this would be invitation-only, so you don't have to invite people if you don't want to, but if you come up with a sentence and think 'oh, that'd be perfect for so-and-so', then feel free to invite them - just put their name in brackets after your sentence.

Geddit?
