"How nice to finally meet you."
I shuddered at the tone the vampire used. He sounded hungry and I did not want to be his soda, not now, not ever. But somehow when I tried to move, I just couldn't. Weather it be that I was paralysed in shock or fear, I just hated the fact that I was surrounded by around twenty vampires with no idea how to fight against them.
"She wants to fight us," whispered a vampire to the left of me. I glared at him. Great, a mind-reader, now what the hell am I going to do?
"Tut-tut, you won't need to do that." The vampire who seemed to be the leader of them all got up from his seat and glided toward me in an almost fluid way.
"We won't hurt you."
He came close to me, tilted my face up and brought his lips to my ear. The vampire who was onto me, so I won't run away, tightened his grip and I winced.
"Just tell us what you're capable of Jade..."
"No," I snarled. "You're not going to make me be one of you because of my powers. I'm not your little puppet."
He stepped back from me, an amused look on his ghastly face.
"Is that so? Well then you'll be making the same mistake as one your buddies, Ash River."
Ash. Where was he now? Was he all right?
"What did you do to him?"
"Don't worry about him, Jade. Let's just talk about us now, hm? Now tell us. How did you kill Eric?"
I glared at the vampire in front of me, what was I going to do now? Should I try and escape somehow?
"Good luck with runing away, you'll never be able to."
I gave a death glare to the mind reading freak and then said in a powerful voice that didn't really sound like me at all, "Stay out of my mind you blood-sucking leech."
At once the vampire's face twisted into a look of confusion. "What the-how did you-?"
I turned my gaze back to the vampire in front of me. "If you hurt any of my friends, I swear to god, I will not spare you alive."
"Oho, you're threatening me?" He laughed, his voice echoing against the walls of this prison.
I lifted my left hand up to my face, to tuck the stray strands of hair behind my ear then quickly moved my arm back, to try and elbow the vampire behind me in his stomach. He caught my elbow. "Predictable."
Bet this wasn't though.
I whirled around, lifting my right leg up and smashed it in his face. He staggered back astonished, holding his nose which must have started bleeding. I smiled to myself, at least I could inflict some harm among them. I tried kicking him again with my right foot but he caught it in his hand. Expecting this, I lifted my body into the air and smashed my left foot against the side of his head.
He muttered a few cuss words then came appeared in front of me.
"I don't want to hurt you."
"Well I do. I'm going to break your leg for bringing me here you hypocrite."
An audible sudden crack filled the air, and the next moment the vampire who was just one second ago, perfectly alright, was now howling with pain.
The other vampires had made a circle around us to watch the show and were now looking interestedly at me, not at all caring about the fact that a fellow brother was now in pain.
"Where are they?" I hissed at the leader of the vampires.
"Ash, Billie, and Mike are going to be alright Jade, why worry about your pathetic friends?"
Without realizing what I was doing, I smacked him across the face. Big mistake. Note to self; never hurt the don of the huge gang who could tear you to shreds in a matter of milli-seconds.
