Still in the form of a panther, Shade stared out into the dark with its luminous green eyes. It couldn't sleep, matter how hard it tried. Something was bothering it, something that it couldn't place but it knew spelled only bad news for the group.
And Shade had no intention of letting it creep up on them.
Shifting position slightly, Shade watched the shadows sway in the moonlight, ears pricked and eyes wide and alert, motionless as a statue.
Watching, and waiting.
