As the vampire snarled at me not to touch her, Jeremy came face to face with her, standing in front of me, death staring her. She left the room. I felt the tears hot on my cheeks as she snarled at me. Jeremy put an arm around me, and we went into the living room. I wiped away my tears. "I'm fine. I just remembered that night. I was wondering if...if he was a vampire. A really well controlled one, by the way he licked his hands after tearing at m mother's throat."
Jeremy put a finger under my chin. "Don't let it get to ya. Tommorows a mystery, yesterday is history, and full of crap, *chuckle* but todays the gift. That's why it's called the present." He told me with a strait face. I gave a laugh. I put my head on Jeremy's shoulder. "Sorry..." I whispered. Jeremy looked down at me.
"I was apoligizing to the vampire, for touching her fangs, to you for causing you trouble, and to myself for being worthless." I whispered. Jeremy fidgeted a bit. He kissed the top of my head. "And I thought Shade needed a chill pill. You need to stop putting yourself down and take a chill pill." He murmured. I smiled up at him, and nuzzled into his shoulder.
