I had written to you earlier regarding my intentions to stop and smell the roses, if you will. With my own writing on hold, it seems that this activity is most productive, as it not only provides other writers with the incentive and tools to continue their craft, but myself with new inspirations and viewpoints.
It is all too easy to glance across a page and proclaim found greatness, but to actually read and take in every thought, every action... that is a labour (pardon my Canadian). But it is a labour that I accept, enjoy, and even revel in.
And because I enjoy this so much, I think I should let you in on my secret, dear Diary. It isn't all too profound, or even of great note. My secret is a tool. That tool is the author page, where there is a short section devoted to first-time authors. Who better to spend time with then the people joining the community, those who I hope to have reading my own work and offering their collaborations?
This is an instance where I very much hope that what goes around, comes around.
