Oh God, why did I kiss him? Why? I mean, sure, I liked it but why?! Fuck, I’m not gay. Am I...? Dude, you just fucking kissed a guy. Oh shit. Why did I fucking agree to stay over at his place? Well done, idiot. Real fucking clever move, there. Oh man, what have I gotten myself into?
A couple hours passed and I’d calmed down a little. I’d almost convinced myself it wasn’t worth showing up as his place but then again, if I didn’t show up how could I tell him it was all just one big misunderstanding? It took me half an hour to convince myself to actually leave the house but at around half six, I stood outside his house. I took a deep breath as I knocked on the door. Why was I getting déjà vu?
"Hey," he opened the door wearing sweats and nothing else. Yeah, you can kiss goodbye to telling him it was a misunderstanding, Kyle.
"Hey" I smiled.
"Come in and make yourself at home."
I flopped on the couch and he grinned.
"Pizza is en route."
He sat down next to me."Now, I've never done this before... what do you wanna do?"
I thought about it for a while. "No idea"
"Well I have films... not sure what you wanna watch mind."
"Got any horrors?"
"A few, Saw, Final Destination, Paranormal, thirteen ghosts... quite a few," he laughed.
"You pick one" I smiled and he nodded.
He went off and came back after a while with a movie. He put it on and dimmed the lights, sitting back down once the pizza came. I leant on him a little and he smiled, his arm winding around my waist. I smiled a little more as we ate and he slowly pulled me a little closer once he’d finished. I cuddled him a bit, kind of nervous.
"I-I'm not going too fast am I?"
I shook my head. "It's just... This is weird for me"
"I know, I don't know how to make you feel comfortable... I want to..."
"Want to what?"
"Make you comfortable."
"Let me just... Let me just try something"
I leant over and kissed him softly, blushing when he kissed back with just as much care. He looked a little worried and I cuddled him a bit more. He caressed my cheek softly.
"You look so cute when you blush," he whispered, smiling slightly.
I blushed even more and he chuckled, kissing me a little deeper than I was used to. I tensed a little and he pulled back, concern framing his face.
"No, it's okay," he paused, "I'm trying to ease you into it..."
I smiled and he held me close, kissing my cheek.
"I'll let you experiment, I'll be here for you."
I felt myself blush a tiny bit. "Thanks"
I huggled him and he kissed me softly, smiling.
“I think you've made me the happiest person alive."
"Glad to hear it" I smiled back.
"And to think you were such a pain on my life a few weeks ago."
I chuckled. "Told you you just had to meet the right people"
"You also said you weren't the right one."
His smile grew bit by bit until he began to laugh, "Oh, I love you."
I arched an eyebrow at him.
"Hmm?" he asked.
"I- oh." He sighed, "I should really learn to think before I speak."
"I think it's cute" I laughed and he arched an eyebrow.
"I didn't mean to say it though. My mouth always gets me into trouble."
I pecked him on the lips and he smiled slightly. I ran a hand through his soft, blonde hair and he looked into my eyes with a soft smile. I mirrored it, staring into his chocolate eyes. He ran a hand across my cheek and I put my own hand over his.
"I can feel my heart pounding in my chest," he whispered.
I put my other hand on his chest, over his heart. His breathing was heavy and his heart was pounding so fast it felt like it was about to burst out of his chest. I giggled and he laughed in embarrassment.
He blushed. “Oh, uh, thank you?"
"You're welcome" I smiled.
"I love everything about you," he smiled, "I love your eyes, your hair, your body. I love your smile and your laugh..." he laughed.
I blushed. "You'll get sick of my smile"
"Your blush is sweet too."
I laughed. "It's not, trust me”
"Trust you... well, why isn't it?"
"Because it looks horrible and stays there for ages" I whined.
"Well, I disagree and I think it’s cute how you're embarrassed so easily, but mainly. I think you're just hot."
"I could've told you that" I winked.
"Cocky as well, mmm."
I chuckled. "Yep"
"Well it's getting rather late and I believe you have school in the morning."
"Yes. Josh won't be there so you should really go. Although... I do want have you to myself..."
"I called in sick, they're not expecting me back yet anyway" I smiled.
"Good," he grinned, resting his head on my shoulder. "But I am getting tired."
"Go to bed then"
He shook his head, "I'm not leaving you up alone."
"I'll fall asleep eventually"
"Well, there's either my bed, or we have a spare room. It's your choice."
I considered sleeping the spare room but gave him my answer in the form of hugging him tighter. He cuddled me closer to him and I smiled.
"Your bed it is"
"Good, come on," he said, dragging me upstairs.
I kept on hugging him and he pulled me onto his bed.
"Mmm, you're nice and warm."
I laughed. "Can't say I've ever heard that one before"
He pulled me closer to him and slung the covers over us. "It's true.-
I hummed and he kissed me, his arms slipping around my waist. I kissed back and he slowly fell asleep. I stroked his cheek once I was certain he was out cold. This was kind of nice. I mean, this was the sort of stuff I’d wanted to do with my ex but she wasn’t too keen on cuddling. I slipped my arms round his waist and shut my eyes, letting myself drift off.
