I was worried. The guys had been in that building a while... And I wasn't having another vision - that might have been able to reassure me.
No, I could only pace and wait.
Suddenly, all three came out. I sighed in relief.
"Did you defeat that hypnotist guy?" I asked.
The three of them glanced at each other and then back at us.
"Yes," Aldric said.
"Wow," I murmured. "You're all so brave." I walked up and gave all three of them a hug. Aldric and Nick patted my back awkwardly, while Zane just stood motionless.
I sighed. "But we don't know anything more about who he was or what's happened to us."
The other girls joined the group.
"Is it too risky to go back inside, d'you think?" Kristen asked.
The boys didn't know.
Suddenly, I had a vision.
A handsome guy with jet black hair and dark brown eyes, walking around, glancing at things invisible to everyone else in confusion. He sat on a bench and buried his face in his hands.
"What's happened to me?" he asked.
The vision ended. But it was promptly followed by another.
A girl who looked about a year older than me, with red hair and freckles. Her green eyes were gentle. She was tall and graceful, the sort of girl you could imagine doing ribbon-dancing. She was sitting in her room, reading.
I could tell that the guy had special powers. And I wasn't sure about the girl but I had a feeling that she could do something too.
The others had noticed my trances.
"Are you okay, Zana?" Aldric asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine. But ... as if there aren't enough problems already, ... I think there are more of us."
"More of us?" Zane repeated. He didn't look too pleased about it.
"We should try and find them," Kristen said.
Most of us agreed - Zane didn't say anything (I got the feeling he was a solitary sort) - but I told them "They could be anywhere. I don't know how we'd find them unless I had another vision."
"Is there any way you can bring these visions on?" Aldric asked.
I winced. "I don't think so."
He sighed slightly.
"Sorry, guys," I apologised.
"Nah, don't worry about it," said Nick.
"Hopefully we'll stumble upon each other," I said.
"Hopefully," Aldric agreed. The others nodded - except Zane.
