Blaze and I were walking along the 37th floor. We were not checking rooms yet.
"I'll just burn the door down when I find him." Blaze was itching for a fight.
"There is no reason to rack up a high bill," I replied with a shrug of my shoulders. "Besides, our mal-hero insurance rates are high enough as it is. I don't need them to be any higher."
We reached the end of the hallway. We were standing in front of the elevators.
"You are right, of course," Blaze said, beginning to calm down.
"Not to mention that I don't want to be an innocent bystander that gets burned. After all, I may be able to go invisible, but you can still burn me."
"I'll have to keep that in mind, my friend," Blaze said with a grin. I trusted her about as far as I could throw her. For all I know, she could be the villian we were all looking for. I would have to keep an eye on her.
