Hi, my name is Maggie Johnson. I am the manager for a 50 story hotel. This isn't a normal hotel, though. We specialize in catering to the needs of superheros. That's right. Superheros!

We also get the occasional normal person. Their reaction when they enter through the front doors of the hotel .... Well, let's just say that it is sometimes priceless.

You would think because most of our clients are superheros we would feel safe, but that isn't always the case because we get some crazy characters around here as well.

We have some clients who have chosen to be residents here. I guess they like the fact that we do their laundry for them everyday. You wouldn't believe how lazy some superheros are. They don't want to lift a finger for anything. Unless they are saving someone, that is.

Let me introduce you to some of our regulars. First, there's Billy the Kid on Crack. His area of expertise is taking down drug dealers and the like. 

Then, there's a red haired woman named Patricia Longstockings. A lot of her friends call her Patty Long. The source of her superpower is her hair. She uses it to lasso the bad guys, often pulling them to the ground. 

And, finally, there's Groucho Marks-a-lot. He's a tough fellow. I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark alley. I'm just real glad that he is on our side.

Patricia Longstockings - also known as Patty Long. (NOT INTRODUCED INTO THE STORY YET)
Super hair, can lasso it to take down bad guys.

Groucho Marks-a-lot - Tough hero, unknown power. (NOT INTRODUCED INTO THE STORY YET)

Billy the Kid on Crack - drug smelling crime fighter

Blaze - winged hero who has power over heat and fire

SuperStoner - inexperienced hero with unknown power, acts "out of it" like he is stoned.

Nina Nightshade - invisible hero with some kind of mind control power

Count Lightning - President hero of USSL, can extract powers from superheros and villains.

Naomi Aldwin - hero that can travel into limbo, dates Billy the Kid on Crack

Justin Caprani - hero who can read memories, nephew of the Count.

Instructions: You may write from the first person perspective of one or more superheros. If you do, however, please title your chapter so we all know who you are writing for. For example, if you are writing for Billy the Kid on Crack, you might title a chapter this way - Billy: Getting some Milk from the Store.


If you write for more than more superhero, please start a new chapter each time you change to a different character.


Superhero hotel also has normal folks passing through, so you may write from their perspective as well. Then, there's the hotel staff, including Maggie Johnson, the hotel manager. All of these are potential characters to write for and about.


You may also choose to write from a third person perspective. You don't have to put a name in the title of your chapter in this case.


Feel free to use any character created by another writer. One note, though. Follow the story carefully if you plan on using someone else's character. In other words, the story should make sense.
