"Okay, okay. So I admit I went a little too far." I said to Bethany as we walked down the hall of the White House.
"Okay I went way too far, I didn't mean to though. I just got mad and-"
"I get it Jagan, I do. Steve can be a jerk sometimes, just watch what you say to him."
"Right." I nodded. I smirked, "By the way, I let him take me down."
Bethany raised an eyebrow, "You don't have to act tough in front of me."
I frowned, "What? No I mean, I really let him take me down. Did you see my stance? You think I'd say that to him with a poor stance?"
Bethany rolled her eyes, "Whatever."
"Okay, so maybe he could have done that even if I wasn't expecting it. But I swear, I wanted him to tackle me."
Bethany's smile reappeared, "And why on earth would you want that?"
"Because I know he hates me. So I wanted him to let the anger sizzle, instead of just holding it back and boiling it."
"Right." she said, mimicking me.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"I just think-"
"He could easily take me?"
"I wasn't going to say that, well, not exactly like that-"
"Guys, what are you doing?" Foster asked, peeking his head out of a door, "We're meeting with the President in like two minutes, get in here!"
We obeyed and darted into the room.
I sat down in a chair and looked up at Steve, who was ignoring me.
My eyes glanced over to the door, that was being opened.
"Mr. President sir." we all said, standing.
