"Mmm, what are you doing?" I said, pushing him away slightly.
"Why?" Why was I asking that? Why wasn't I kissing him? I wanted to.
"Because it felt right."
"Oh. Well stop it. Someone might see us."
"Would that be so bad?"
"Yes. We're not together Harry."
He blinked and turned back to his breakfast.
"So do you remember what happened? Anything?" I asked.
"I remember coming inside, and most things before that."
"I think that's when we really hit the bottle."
"Something must have happened. Why would I have felt right about kissing you if something hadn't happened?"
"Maybe we just talked a lot?" Even I could tell I didn't sound sure.
"Doubt it. No girl has ever talked me in to kissing them. Unless it's too shut them up."
"Ugh, you're so coarse."
"No I'm not."
"Yes you are. You still talk about girls as a whole entity, not as individuals with feelings."
"Individuals with feelings huh? Wow, the bisexual speaks out."
I punched him.
"I'm not defined by my sexuality." I quoted, grabbing some more of his pancake.
"No, your body has definition all by itself." He glanced down then sighed. "So what are we now then? If we're not going out, but I keep wanting to kiss you, what is that?"
"I believe the technical term is unrequited love."
"Oh come on, you know you kissed me back."
"I'm not so sure."
"We could try again. Then we'd see." I felt the sudden urge to take him somewhere quiet and empty and see just how much kissing we could fit in before we were found. He was getting closer.
"No. Besides, the others might see, and then there'd be the whole 'you're getting back together' scene."
"True. So secretly then? Come on. Let's just see what happens."
"No as in maybe?" I laughed. He was so persistant.
"No as in... oh for goodness sake... no as in I'll think about it."
"Good. I don't know what I would have done if you'd have said no."
"I already... oh you're hopeless."
"Not as hopeless as you." He muttered before moving away slightly and motioning to the door. Flo, Silas, Ian and Louise had just walked in, and were looking around for us. "Quick, act natural." He chuckled.
