After all that had happened, I couldn't be bothered with who was in the black suit. It didn't really bother me; it was probably just a coincidence that Silas had answered as the man was on the phone. I decided it was time to go to bed, ignoring Harry for his 'cork in eye' thing. Not that I actually cared. Paul was a whimp; I could do so much better.
"Hey guys, I'm gonna go to bed. I'm beat and I want a full day in the pool tomorrow. This body will tan." I grinned. "Congrats you two." I said to Silas and Louise, then left to go upstairs.
In the morning I went down for breakfast and sat with the girls. The guys were all still in bed, so we chatted abou Louise's ring for a while.
"Right you guys, I'm going to change and then I'm going to spend the day at the pool."
"Not if I get there first!" Flo jumped up and ran from the hall. I rolled my eyes at Louise then followed Flo out, running in to Paul. His eye was purple.
"Hey Paul. Look I''m sorry about last night."
Yeah me too. We didn't get to spend enough time together. Why don't we hang out today?"
"No sorry Paul. I'm here with my friends, and I'd drunk a little bit too much last night. I'm really not that interested."
"Oh. Well fine, if that's how you're going to be." He stormed off. I grimaced and went to get in to my bikini and grab my towel. A few minutes later and the three of us girls were in the pool, splashing each other and giggling. Harry arrived and bombed in to the pool, soaking us all. For a minute I forgot that I hated him and laughed, dunking him, but then I remembered and let him go, swimming away. He of course didn't realise and came over to dunk me back. We both ended up facing each other under water, em with my arms crossed and him trying not to laugh. Being with him was melting all my hate, but I didn't want to give in. No matter how hard I tried though, I could feel myself slipping.
We surfaced and found Silas and Ian had joined the other two.
"Hey Harry. About Paul..."
"Hey, if you want to flirt with guys... or girls... I have no problem with that."
"Yeah, I know, it's not like you have a choice. But I wanted you to know... I told him I wasn't interested this morning. He was such a drip yesterday. Besides, there are hotter guys... and girls" I said, imitating his earlier speech, "here than him."
"Yeah, there most certainly are." He said, his gaze caught by a girl walking by in a skimpy bikini that barely had any material. I rolled my eyes and splashed him, before swimming over to the others.
Hey guys, sleep well?"
"Really well thank you." Ian replied before dunking Flo. She yelled as she resurfaced and splashed him, and our water fight resumed. Harry joined in, and soon we were all laughing and panting, forgetting about everything but our fun holiday.
After an hour of pool time I got out and went to grab a drink at the pool side bar. As I sipped at the drink I watched Harry flirting with the girl he had seen earlier. I suddenly felt jealous, although I had no idea why.
"Hi." I turned to see a red haired woman with freckles. She was smiling at me.
"Hi. I'm Aimee."
"Nice to meet you Sasha."
"Are you here alone?"
"Oh." She looked a bit disappointed.
"I'm here with my friends."
"Oh. Cool." She perked up. "So, what do you do?"
"I'm a journalist. What about you?" I glanced over at Harry and saw he was watching me, despite the girl he was with checking out his muscles.
"I'm an artist." My attention was caught.
"Really? What sort of art?"
"I do sketches, paintings, you know anything I get commissioned to do."
"That's really cool. So, have you ever done any nude art? It's just, that really fascinates me."
"Not yet. But I'm willing to try." She winked. Oh my god, she was so responding to my flirt! This was brilliant; I hadn't really dated or anything since Harry, so flirting like this made a refreshing change.
"Hmmm... interesting. Do you want a drink?"
