Physical description: quite tall, brown hair usually in plaits, green eyes, unconventionally pretty face (almost more handsome than pretty)
Reasons for helping Blanche: brother was killed in the revolution.

Nationality: Of English birth, yet she lives in France
Physical Description: Tall and slender, with a plainish pale face yet brilliant, sharp and strong blue eyes. Dark brown hair, nearly black.
Reasons for helping the Blanche: Her French husband was killed, and all of her family is tied in the war, as her Mother is also French, with risk of more death and she feels that something must be done.

Physical Description: Small and skinny, due to lack of food. Bright eyes, grey-ish in colour, and light brown hair.
Reasons for helping the Blanche: An orphan with no money, they've offered her shelter and protection if she does jobs for them that larger people can't do. Plus, no one suspects her.
