I ducked my head and went into the lunch room, determined to keep my head down and serve my time here without any complaints. I grabbed a tray and dumped some carrot sticks and a bottle of lemonade on it, too scared to try anything else incase it had been tampered with. I payed and sat down at an empty table.
"Hey, mind if I sit here?"
I gestured for them to go ahead.
"I'm Harry, you are....?"
"Rosie" I mumbled
"Is that an english accent?"
"Dunno, is that an american one?"
He laughed and I looked up, he had blonde hair, blue eyes and was quite tall, reminds me of that guy....John from back home.
"Is this your first year?"
"Uh-huh" he sighed "What're you here for?"
"Crimes I didn't commit" I mumbled
"Join the club"
I sighed heavily, at least I wasn't the only one here who hadn't done anything wrong.
"What class do you have next?"
"English with Mr Wexley"
"Shame, I'm with Miss Bookerman"
"I need my stuff now" I heard voices from the corner, just making out the breif glint of a blade. Trust me to pick a table with a fight about two meters away.
"Oh crud" I swallowed hard.
I pointed to the corner and Harry looked confused.
"See that shine? What do you think it is?"
His eyes widened "That's bad"
"Think we should get the head?"
"No, it could be too late by then" here it comes, over caring power up. I got up slowly.
"You can't take him on!"
I saw someone by the blade in a head lock
"Oh, I'm not" I smiled "Pass me your mash" he handed it to me
"What are you planning?"
"FOOD FIGHT!!!!" I yelled and threw the bowl, it took mili seconds for it all to kick off. I ducked under the table and became myself again, reserving the pure adrenaline.
"Well that was a dumb move"
"Doubt it. I'll bet thats a given chance, you'd have to be stupid not to take advantage of the situation" I just hope their not brain dead.
