We run under canopies and hide beneath umbrellas to hide from the rain. We block it out and wish it was over, but then you see countries full of crop failure and weather so dry that the forests burn with fire. Do they wish for rain, like some kind of parrallel universe? Would they run out into the freezing droplets scattered from an ink-coloured sky? Do animals no what's going on? I know that sounds stupid, but a field of starving sheep or cows might be happy that the burnt, parched dry grass and ground is suddenly wet. People have enough to drink. Rain is something we doubt that anyone could ever wish for. But maybe some people look at roasting-hot days in the same way.
