To be honest, me and Aysh sat like that for quite a while. It was nice to hug someone again. Then, I froze. I could hear a new voice downstairs."What's up?" she asked. I gestured for her to wait a moment, then I concentrated. I didn't full enter his mind, that still hurt my head, but rather just enough to hear his thoughts.
I'm supposed to capture her?
I groan inwardly. A spy? Another one? But I thought that was what Zazi was for!
No. I'll see how this all plays out. If she's truly evil I'll get her. If not, Ian will pay for trying to use me.
I thought to myself. Then I listened for more. Who was this new guy? How did he know Ian?
She doesn't seem too evil. I'll give it a few days.
I listened to the rest of his thoughts, and then Meita's. It appeared she was taking him on a tour. He didn't seem to evil himself, to be honest, so I decided I would give him the benefit of the doubt. I'd just keep my eye on him for the next few days. I stopped looking in to his thoughts and returned to my own body. I blinked a few times to get used to the light, my body was slumped against the back of the bed. Aysh chuckled nervously. "That still freaks me out a bit." she admitted. I laughed. It still kind of freaked me out, so I could understand where she was coming from. I sat back up properly and smiled at her. Then I told her everything that I had just heard.
She looked shocked. "This is our secret," I told her. "No use in telling everybody, we need to let him see that we're not evil first." She nodded. Well, this should be interesting.
