It was getting late when Joker appeared in my doorway, a stricken expression on his face.
"Have you seen Dia?" He asked, urgently.
"No." I snapped. "Why would I have?"
"Well she hasn't been with me, so I assumed she was with you, or else where in the house.. Sure you haven't seen her?" Joker's voice was getting a high and shaky, and I could tell he was worried.
"No. I'm sure I haven't." I repeated. "Where would she be?" Joker swore.
"I saw her running down the hall, and out of the house, but that was hours ago, just after we had our... talk." He said, rubbing his forehead. "I was sure she'd be back by now!"
"Wait, so you haven't seen her for hours on end?" I asked, a little worry creeping its way into my voice.
"No.. That's why I thought she was with you..." He frowned.
"Oh god.. She's not... she can't be.. Still wandering the streets at almost eleven at night?" I murmured, a real sensation of worry closing its icy fist around my heart.
"Oh cr--!" Joker swore vehemently. "She doesn't know what Planet 52 gets like in the dead hours of the night!"
In unison, we sprinted down the corridors and out through the front door.
Dia, we're coming to find you!
