I watched with quite fasination as Ben got his whole... 'Fish thing going on' as Luke so rightly put it. He blushed as he saw me looking and I felt bad for staring, I looked away and glanced at the stair case that Ellie had just come back down from. Ben excused himself from all the attention and I felt out of place, I walked up the staircase, no one saw me leave, I don't think they even knew I was there to start.  It was pretty impressive, I mean I never thought the house would have ten bedrooms, but I was glad at the same time. That meant we didn't have to share rooms, I didn't know how I felt about the whole ending up in the middle of no where idea.

I went over the a window that sat at the end of the corridor, I looked outside and watched as I saw Ben walk over to a pile of rocks, he picked one of them up and dropped it on his foot, but he moved his foot just before it dropped. He glanced round and I felt bad for watching, he picked the rock up again and dropped it from a slightly smaller height. I winced as it landed on his foot but the rock just bounced off, he brought his fist down hard on to another boulder but instead of breaking his hand it just slid against the stone creating a shower of chips and sparks.

He glanced back at the house and began to walk back, I dug the topaz out of my pocket and held it up to the light. It was so beautiful and mystical looking, I smiled slightly, it was kind of like me.

"Hey, Lucinda! Food's ready!" I looked behind me to see Ellie running up the stairs, she came and grabbed my hand grinning from ear to ear.

"Come on! It's getting cold." We ran down the stairs and sat at the table with the others. The food was amazing, and everyone gave compliments to Ellie, I ate a small amount of food not really feeling hungry. Ellie shot me a worried look but no one else seemed to notice, after everyone had finished I offered to help clean up since I hadn't eaten hardly any of the food. The others dispersed and I set to work on cleaning the dishes, Ellie appeared by my elbow taking a towel and drying some of the plates.

"No, let me do that Ellie. You were the one who cooked, you shouldn't have to clean as well." I said in protest.

"Oh no. I don't mind I actually like doing the washing up, it gives me time to think." She paused as if trying to decide what to say next.

"Um, Lucinda. Are you feeling OK? It's just that you didn't eat much at dinner."

"Oh yeah I'm fine. I don't know," I said shrugging, "I guess I lost my appetite somehow" I said laughing.

Ellie smiled and nodded, "Hey I can finish up her Lucinda. Why don't you go outside and see if that helps."

"Thanks Ellie" I said, I walked out of the kitchen and towards the front door. I stepped out side, a gust of wind blew through my hair, causing it to whip round my face. I tucked it behind my ears breathing in the scent of the night air, something knocked into me causing me to fall with a yelp onto the grass.

"Ow! What the-" I stopped and William appeared in front of me, he was looking to the right of him.

"Hey! I'm sorry about that. Are you-" He turned to face me and yelped in surprise falling backwards.

"Hey. That's rude!" I said offended, I began rubbing my behind.

"No... No it's not that- I mean... Look!" He said pointing behind me, I frowned and turned around slowly, huffing.

"Oh My God!" I yelped,

"Wat the...?" I said backing away slowly, in front of me stood another... me, I was- wait no- we were backing away from each other.

"Wat the...?" The other me said just after me. Okay this is way too much for me, I saw the ground rush towards me then... nothing.

The End
