T.K POV

It was times like this I remembered the few differences between me and Clarissa. The biggest was our confidence. Clarissa was much more confident, I was the one to sit back and take it. Somehow we sat there at the new guy's table, I drinking a coke (I’d brought it with me) and Rissa was drinking a cup of overly sweet tea, 8 sugars to be true. The new guy was called Dylan he was sipping a cup of warmed blood I’d gotten the blood from my house, it was human, but my mum had 'borrowed' it from the local blood bank, most of us from the apartments did this our last vampire had as well. Well ye had before he got caught, I wasn't very old at the time really, only 10.

“So why do you have a vampire's name?” Dylan asked.

“Parents.” Rissa said, she didn't say much more. It wasn't a particularly touchy subject, just not the simplest either. I sipped my drink quietly, I wasn't so good with new people, so I stayed quiet.ike this I remembered the few differences between me and Clarissa. The biggest was our confidence.
