The silence slowly reaches everything around him as his lesser senses heighten, and he can smell the somewhat burnt odor of the decayed earth, left to rot. He can feel absolutely nothing against his skin, and nothing reaches his ears except the very slight wind that has started to gust. The vast expanses of these dead plains overwhelm his senses, and he finally realizes that he may be the only living thing left on this Earth.
