It was obviously where he lived. This room was a living room with a huge fire on one side, and the other there was a small kitchen. There were two doors at the end of the room. Everything was comfortably decorated, and in warm colours. I turned and smiled at Orlando.
"This is really nice."
He grinned and walked forward. "Make yourself comfortable. What's mine is yours."
I smiled embarrassed and sat down on a big red sofa. He went across to the fridge.
"Do you want anything?"
"You have things other than blood?" I teased. He smiled.
"Yes as a matter of fact." He pulled out a bowl of strawberries. "Do you like these?"
"Oh yes, they're my favourite!" He grinned at this revelation and walked over to me. "What are we here for anyway?"
"Well, I know for one I wasn't spoiling your education pulling you out of class."
I grinned. "How long were you standing there?"
"Long enough. You were bored out of your pretty mind weren't you?"
I blushed and nodded. He took a strawberry out of the bowl and offered it to me. I put my hand out to take it but he shook his head, sitting next to me and hanging the fruit over my mouth tantilisingly. I let my head roll back and my mouth open, waiting for the fruit.
