Ignore it - it's probably just your imagination

You sigh heavily and decide it's probably nothing. You think out load, "How many 'noises' did I hear when I was younger that turned out to be nothing? It's probably just the heat affecting the floorboards."

Heading back to bed, you hear another creak. This time it seems to have drawn nearer to you. You conclude it's just the heat spreading through the floorboards. Instead of investigating, you sink into your bed. The light from your window has grown and now covers your bed. It annoys you by gleaming in your eyes.

You turn to block it from your eyes, but someone blocks your arm and pins you to your bed.

"Well, well, well. It looks like someone forgot their training."

What will you do?

The End
