For the rest of the date we allowed the water to move the boat wherever it wished, whilst we drank, talked, ate and listened to the music. When the sun had set and the band had finished I rowed the boat back to the bank and we began to walk back to our room.
"Will, this has been the best first date ever."
"I'm glad you liked it." I kissed her, and felt her kissing me back. Alex was so responsive, so willing to be loved that it made me want to spend more and more time with her. I slipped my arm around her waist and walked her back to our room like that, with her head on my shoulder.
"So," I said as I closed the door, "I guess that entitles me to a second date?"
"Hmm, we'll see."
"Oh we'll see will we?" I tackled her on to her bed, tickling her waist. She giggled and tried to beat me off, gasping for breath.
"Ok, ok, you win!" I stopped tickling her and allowed her to catch her breath before kissing her once more. Then I released her and lay down next to her, taking her hand in mine and tracing invisible patterns on her hand.
"When did you realise you were... gay?"
"I-I don't know if I am. At least, I don't know if I'm a lesbian. I might be bisexual. In fact, I think I might be."
"Alright, so when did you realise that?"
"Well, I was sort of... experimenting with my sexuality before I came to university, but you're the first girl I've fancied."
"I feel honoured." I winked at her and she shoved me slightly.
"What about you? When did you realise you were a lesbian?"
"When I was fifteen. I fell in love with one of my teachers. Well no, I didn't fall in love with her, but I fancied her. She made me realise that I was a lesbian. I'd never been out with a boy either, because nothing about them ever attracted me to them."
"Nothing about them?"
"Nope, nothing. Whereas you probably like their muscles or something, am I right?" I winked at her again, seeing the blush rise in her cheeks.
"I never said... you're just trying to wind me up aren't you?"
"Because you're sexy when you're angry." Her blush deepend as I knew it would.
"Will, stop it else I'll kick you off of here."
"See, still sexy." I kissed her again. Ok, I admit I'm throwing on the charm a little heavy. But that's only because I love seeing Alex happy, and her blush only came when she was embarrassed at something I'd said to compliment her. Her blush was really sexy; I wasn't lying.
"Alright, are you trying to get me to go up in flames?" She asked, fanning her cheeks.
