I considered going back to the party for about a millisecond, and then realised I had some serious ass-kicking to do. I stalked to the end of the corridor to find the list of the student names that lived in our dorm, and ran my finger down until I came to his name.
You're dead buddy.
I broke in to a run until I reached the door to his room. Now take a moment Will, don't do anything too rash. I knocked. A few seconds later the door opened. Will was stood in the doorway, leaning against the frame in a carefree way.
"Can I help you?"
"Yeah, you could quit messing with my friend."
"I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean."
"Sure you do. Alex, the girl you kissed, made up with and then spiked the drink of. That's my friend. And if you don't back the hell off, I'll make you wish you'd never been born."
"Hey look...sorry, what was your name?"
"Huh, another Will."
"Only my friends call me Will."
"Look Willow, I appreciate what you're saying, but Alex likes me, can you blame a guy for trying to speed something up that's going to happen anyway?"
"Look you freak, I really want to punch you right now, but for her sake I'm not going to. Just stop stalking her and spiking her drinks alright?"
"Hey sorry to interrupt your big lesbian crush..."
"What did you just say?"
"Well I guess she can't help when a big old dyke is crushing on her can she? Just stay away from my woman." I saw red, and the next thing I knew, Will was sprawled on the floor, his nose bloody.
"Stay away, pervert."
I stalked back to my room. There was a note pinned to the door. My lights were here. I knew that I was too angry to be quiet with Alex sleeping, so I headed down to the front desk to collect them.
There they were, my beautiful lights. I took them to the studio that had been assigned to me, and set up my main light. Then, my anger washed away, I headed back to my room.
