Love

What is wrong with having the dream of finding someone with whom you can curl on the sofa with, barely touching, feeling so connected just by the slightest hint of skin upon skin?

What is wrong with having the dream of finding someone with whom you can walk on the beach at sunset without having to make some cheesy romantic movie come to life?

What is wrong with having the dream of finding someone with whom you can smile, even though things may not be happy, perfect or in any way good. But knowing you are with them makes everything wrong seem small compared to being with them?

What is wrong with having the dream of finding someone with whom you can be yourself, no one but your truest self, the entirety of your many fragmented persons, and know that they love each and every part?

What is wrong with having the dream of finding someone with whom you can love, be loved and create love?

What is wrong with having the dream of finding someone?

Someone you can share your life with. Your deepest thoughts, darkest fears, greatest desires.

Nothing.

So why should it be so hard?

Because if something is worth fighting for, you should have to fight harder than you've ever fought before.

Because that is love.

The End
