I am writing, in part, to ask a favour. I knew Amadeus during the fifth war and would like to exchange words with him. Letters take months and are subject to the carriers secrecy. I am willing to take any job offered me as long as I can speak face to face. I know this request is strange. You have not heard of me and even Amadeus may have forgotten, but the bond of war brothers – as I am even if female – grows strong.

I am not writing of love in this letter. That is not why I chose to leave Tamerisk, I have news of small things and of greater. I should like to meet you Meliss, my brother speaks highly of the Horsemaster, and horses are the one thing I shall never tire of. I hope your response to me will be favourable, I have enclosed word to my brother with this letter which will reach him as this reaches you, he will tell you about me. I shall travel slower, but no matter your reply I am leaving my homeland for the Western lands of Durhu Siyura. I pray that one day we meet.

Okay, this needs explanation. I am planning to do a 100 theme challenge, this is my first one and what better world to set it in than my Longtiere one? So any guesses as to the theme, ahhahaha it is not easy so I will tell: 'Fancy' was my theme. Fancy has a lot more meanings than you'd think at first. In this I more went for. 'I wish' than 'I like', meh, that's the deal with the random letter anyway.
