A darling little girl named Lucy wanted to paint while laying on the floor. She grabbed all of her favorite colors and sat down on the nice hardwood floor of her bedroom. She splatted, dabbed, and brushed up a masterpiece that was fit for a Queen, or a princess like herself. Only when she was through did she realize that she didn’t cover up the floor before beginning her painting. There were splatters EVERYWHERE, and she could hear her mom coming up the stairs! Thinking as quick as she could she grabbed her favorite polka dot rug and covered up the biggest part of the mess. PHEW! To hide her deception she threw the pretty painting in the garbage and hoped that she would be able to clean the mess up before her mom ever saw it.
