Getting AwayMature

Morning. Jester smiled to himself. Dawn was just breaking over Paris. A beautiful new day to match yesterday. He turned over in the bed to see Ana curled up, dreaming of something. Still smiling Jester climbed out of bed, careful not to move the mattress too much, he didnt think she'd appreciate waking up at the crack of dawn. He moved out to the balcony again, looking at the city. He could see the vampire's trail leading towards it and back to the front of the house. Why would he be going to the city so much when he knew that it was so important for them to stay hidden?

A glint of light caught his eye and distracted him. Far in the distance, in the middle of the city, was a small point of light. The Eiffel tower. Jester glanced at Ana, still asleep on the bed, the early morning sun catching in her hair. She was beautiful. Slowly as the sun was rising, Jester had an idea. He moved back over to the bed, nudging her awake.

"Ana." He whispered.

"Hmm?" She mumbled, not opening her eyes.

"I want to take you somewhere."

"What time is it?" She turned over to look at the clock. Jester covered it quickly with his hand.

"Doesnt matter. I want to take you somewhere." He said, getting excited now. Ana opened her eyes wider, propping herself up on her elbows.

"Where?" She asked. Jester grinned and pulled her out of bed and out to the balcony, pointing at the distant tower.

"The Eiffel tower." He said. "And maybe, to a cafe for breakfast." Ana blinked and looked around at the morning around her.

"Its early." She said, seeing the low sun. "Will it be open?" Jester grinned, that was a yes.

"I think so." He said, then rushed back into the room, grabbing a pair of khakis and a white button-down as he went. Time to look nice for the outing. Or was it a date?
