I made my excuses to Callum, and left straight away as the bell rang. I couldn't believe I had been so stupid. One class. One class was all it had took. I would have to change now, and I wasn't sure how I was going to explain that to my parents after one day.

After class, I wondered to the canteen. I was starving and I hoped that there was some food still left. When I walked in though, I saw that there was a group of people all in there.

"Please tell me no one else in the room can read minds?" I heard a voice say, and I recognised it as callum. Wait a minute. Read minds?

"There's someone else in here." one of the girls said, and I suddenly felt like an intruder.

"Yes you are, listening in to the conversations." she said again, turning round.

"Hey, how did you know what I was thinking?" I said to her, questioningly. Had Callum said something about reading minds.

"Yes that's right." she said once again. This was getting annoying.

"Hey quit doing that." I snapped. Another girl stepped forward, with brown hair, and blue eyes.

"Want me to make him forget this? We don't want everyone to know were different." she said, quietly. Make me forget?

"No! Wait! He's one of us." Callum said quickly. "Show them Raph, show them what you can do."

Did he mean the healing thing? There was no way I was showing everyone stood here. I had worked so hard at keeping it hidden, I wasn't going to show everyone now.

"Healing? Raph were the same. Trust us. I can read minds, Soar can tamper with peoples memories, Rain can control the weather and earth, Stephan can stop time."

I couldn't believe it. I wasn't alone. I wasn't the only one who was... weird. But could I trust them? There was only one way to find out. I walked over to the knifes and forks counter, and picked up a knife.

"I can put this in me, and I won't die." I said, bracing myself. This was going to hurt, but I was used to that by know. I grabbed the knife and pushed it deeply in my arm. I didn't make  noise, or showed any sign that pain was souring through my arm. Some of the girls gasped.

I pulled the knife out, and after a few seconds my skin started to knit it self back together.

"Wow" the girl with white hair said.

The End
