Eddie: Organisation

I beamed at her, genuinely happy. It must have been the first time in a while that I'd been so happy, all because of her. She turned around quickly and I just didn't stop grinning.

I stepped forward, placing my head on her shoulder. "Thank you." I whispered, kissing her gently on the neck.

"So it's in a couple of hours. What are you going to wear?" I started to go to the bedroom but she simply yelled at me.

"It's today? Are you kidding me, Eddie?"

"Well yeah it is." I mumbled, opening the door and moving to the wardrobe.

"It's a bit late notice, isn't it?" She had stomped after me and was staring me down, forcing me onto the bed.

"Not my fault." I murmured, but it was too late. Her hands were flailing, her voice getting louder.

"What am I going to wear? What will I say? How will I get there? How will I get back?" She was panicking.

I stood up, brushing her off when she tried to push me back down. I opened the wardrobe, pulling out an outfit that I had already sorted out for her. I placed it on the bed, encouraging her to sit down at the same time. She looked at me as she did so, the worry still in her eyes.

I hesitated for a second, wondering if I should kiss her. The moment passed so I skipped over it.

"You can wear this. Be honest with your answers, but don't say anything stupid. I prepared some questions for these circumstances so I can help. We'll get a taxi there and back. Anything else?"

I had my hands placed on her knees, holding her down. She looked up at me and I could see that she was blushing slightly.

"You did all this for me?" She asked softly. I nodded and she blushed a little more. After kissing her gently on the forehead, I left the room, pretending that I hadn't seen; I knew that she'd prefer it that way.

The End
