I froze as the car stopped. My heart began to beat faster and faster. I strained my ears for a sound, any sound. The car door slammed and I heard her cold hearted voice. My blood ran cold.
"You come with me. We need to report back. You fetch her and take her to her cell. I'm sure he'll want to pay her a visit."
I gulped as I heard the crunch of her footsteps on the gravel slowly fade into the distance. The man grunted and stepped round to the boot. The key entered the lock.
I braced myself for the light to burn my eyes, but surprisingly it didn't. Looking up, I noticed the sky was dark, and the moon shined up above me. I had lost track of the time in the boot.
"Have a nice trip?" the man growled, mocking me. I couldn't say anything back as my mouth was still gagged. He laughed and it was so cruel, so mean. How could anyone stand there and laugh at a young girl being held at her will? How could he be so cold hearted.
"Don't move. I'm going to lift you out." He muttered, putting his hands in the boot. I closed my eyes, as I felt him touch my hips. He lifted my out, groping me where he could. He was foul.
When he placed me on my feet, I nearly fell over. All the hours spent stuck in that boot, had made my legs cramped. Plus all of the drugs that they had put into me didn't help.
"Move." He growled pushing me forward. I stumbled, but caught myself in time. My hands were still behind my back, and my mouth was still gagged.
"Your pathetic." He spat at me. "Pathetic, but beautiful." I could feel him glaring at me, behind me. I felt so concious about that fact I was only in a long white shirt. The cold air whipped my bare legs, and they were soon full of goosebumps. But I didn't mind. It felt nice to feel the air again after being in that car.
Looking round, I saw he was leading me to a tall white building. It reminded me a lot like a prison, and I had a bad feeling about it. We were surrounded by tall fences, and then beyond that trees. We were deserted and there was no way any one was going to come looking for me here. I was alone.
"Stop." He ordered me. I stood still and waited.
He walked in front of me, and stared at my face. He lifted his hand and I flinched. This only seemed to make him laugh, and he ripped the tape from my mouth. Pain flooded over my lips, and I gasped.
"Try turning into a bird now." He spat at me, and I trembled. I had already tried, but I couldn't.
"You'll never get away with this." I told him. "My parents will find me."
"Who you trying to kid? Me or yourself?" He said, stepping forward. That's when I made my mouth.
I whipped my hands from behind me, and catching him unaware, I grabbed his gun. He looked surprised and then scared. Quickly putting his hands in the air, he gulped.
"Thanks for leaving a knife in the boot. Just what I needed to cut myself free." I told him. I was breathing heavily, adrenaline pumping through me.
"Shoot me. There'll hear you." He told me, but he looked worried.
"How do I get out of here?" I asked him. He didn't answer, and I pointed the gun to his head. He eyed it nervously.
"Okay, okay. There's a gate over there." He told me nodding to the left of him. I started to edge closer to it, keeping my eyes on him. He didn't move an inch, and his eyes never left the gun.
When I got there, I found that it was locked. Quickly deciding on what to do, I shot the lock and it blew up. Strait away there were shouts, but I didn't waste no time in waiting. I shot out of the gate, and dived into the trees.
As soon as my bare feet touched the fresh earth, peace ran through me. New confidence found me, and I ran faster than I had ever run in my life. I could hear shouting behind me, but I didn't pay any attention.
I heard a gunshot. A horrible feeling crossed me, that the man who had allowed me to escape, had just been punished for his stupidity. I couldn't think about things like that though.
I didn't turn to see if I was being followed. I just ran and ran and ran. On and on. Trees flew past me, but no branch touched me. It was like they moved to my body, pushing me on my way and moving out of my path.
Then all of a sudden a boy came out of no where. He fell into me, and we tumbled to the ground.
"Ouch." He yelled. We rolled over and over, till he was lay on top of me. I was about to scream, but he put his hand over my mouth.
"Shush." he whispered. As he said that, two men ran past. They stopped, looked around then headed back. We stayed still for ten minutes, then he lifted his hand from my mouth.
"Who are you?" I whispered.
He was very tall, with dark brown eyes. His hair was brown and blonde. He didn't look at me as he spoke, but instead looked at where the men had disappeared.
"Xaoc. Where did you come from?" He said.
"That white building. They took me."
"I need to go back there, people I know are there." He said, standing up. He looked at me closely, and then took of his jacket handing it to me.
"Please. No. I don't want to go back there. But I don't want to be alone." I said. He bit his bottom lip, as if deciding on what to do.
"Okay, I know where you'll be safe. Then I'm going back." He said. He hurried off in the distance and I followed him.
