Life had never been terribly interesting for Magda Goulder.
Working behind the scenes at a bank had never interested her but it was the only career that she could find when she was younger, not having the nerve to find something that would make her happy. But it wasn't all bad - working there had led her to meeting Tilda Paddeley, the person that she deemed as her best (and only) friend.
Thanks to Tilda, Magda found the one item that would change her life forever: an old Edwardian full length mirror.
But it wasn't just any old mirror - whenever Magda looked into that mirror, she came away a completely different person...
