I snuggled up to Shane on the coach. It would take a while to get to the theatre, and I intended to enjoy the trip. Next to us, Skye and James were getting to know each other in a more 'relationship-like' way. I smiled at them. It was so nice to have someone with you when you were going through a competitive environment like this.
Shane kissed my head, and I looked up at her. She was just perfect. I watched her, and she watched me. All we had to do was look at each other, and we knew. It was a beautiful moment. Of course, beautiful moments never last, so that was when the coach decided to go over a huge bump and knock us all about a bit. One of the girls that had been walking down the isle fell on to Shane and I. She pulled herself up and mumbled an apology, then went to sit on her own. She seemed shy, and she hadn't got anyone sitting next to her. I felt bad for her, so I got out the chocolates that I'd brought and shared them around, making sure to give her one. She smiled gratefully at me, and I learnt that her name was Aimee.
"Hey Aimee, I'm Carmen, this is Shane, Skye and James."
"Nice to meet you."
