I came crashing into the clearing just in time to see an enourmous werewolf get flung into a tree. With a caw of alarm I scooted out of the way just in time to avoid a flattening. Landing on the forest floor, I changed back into my human form and turned to face whoever it was I seemed to be sharing this space with.
Ah. This could be complicated.
It was Daisy, the human-ish girl I'd seen talking to Arrow earlier. She was bending over another werewolf, evidently the victim of the first. I slunk silently up behind her.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I said, the sound of my voice making her jump, "Werewolves have their own diplomatic methods. I wouldn't get involved. Unless, of course, you have a death wish."
Daisy glared at me, narrowing her eyes, "I've seen you before haven't I?"
I nodded, grinning a sharp-toothed grin, "You betcha, although you didn't know it. I was the magpie watching you and your leech through the window yesterday. I must say you two are quite the couple."
Daisy shot me a nasty look and went back to tending the werewolf, evidently ignoring what I had just said about lupine politics. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
Let's just hope no more turn up. Otherwise this situation could get hairy.
And we would be very dead indeed...
