I Don't Want to Be Skinny

I see the way they hurt, the way they try to be skinny enough. But I know the truth...nobody will ever be skinny enough. Nobody will ever have the appearance they want...until they learn to love the one they have.

I see people harming themselves, all in the name of beauty. But I don't see beauty that way. Beauty is found in laughing. Beauty is found in singing. Beauty is found in loving others. Beauty is found in whispers and in shouts.

I don't want to be skinny. I like the way I am. I find beauty in myself. And that's enough for me.
