It didn't take much longer to find somewhere quiet at that kind of speed. And - begrudgingly - I have to admit it's a fucking relief not to have to worry about the car breaking down any second.
I pull over in an empty trucker's lay-by on a quiet stretch of road and kill the engine, unbuttoning Cayden's pants and go down on him as easily as breathing.
His hand knots into the hair at the back of my head, gripping tight as he moans out a string of swears. I smile as I tease him up to his orgasm, listening to him growling at me to "fucking get on with it."
Not one to ignore a direct order from a desperately close Cayden, I oblige and less than a minute later, I'm sitting up, wiping my mouth, trying to swallow away the taste. When that doesn't work, I settle with sharing it with him in a long kiss.
"Happy?" I ask with a slight laugh as he relaxes into his seat.
"Mmm. Y'know that doesn't count as you proving you can use it, right?"
"No, but you were the one that wanted head," I smile as I start the car.
"Well at some point you're gonna have to put your money where your mouth is. Literally," he says with a hint of evil in his grin. I laugh and nod, speeding down the road. I could get used to having a car capable of more than fifty miles an hour.
"After I've seen Rosa, I might just do that." He hums, apparently not worried by my speeding.
"Promise," I smile, "provided she doesn't go all emotional wreckage on me and take up the evening talking to me," I add, my smile slipping into a frown. I hope she's okay.
"I'm glad you think so highly of your friends."
"She's lovely, but she attracts a lot of girl trouble," I sigh, "I didn't mean to sound harsh."
"I was joking, dumb-dumb." He smiles and I return it weakly, wondering what had happened with Rosa. I s'pose the quicker I get back the quicker I can make sure she's alright.
C'mon Saturn Sky. Let's see your top speed.
When I walk into my apartment, it's quiet. Very quiet.
There's a quiet sniffle from my bedroom and when I walk in, I see her curled up in one corner of the bed, hugging one of the pillows to her. Cay's phone rings as I sit on the edge of the bed with her. He wanders into the kitchen to answer it and I focus on trying to get a response out of Rosa.
"C'mon, Rosa," I murmur, "it's just a break, right?" I half smile, and offer her a hug. After a moment, she accepts it and I rub my hand up and down her back in comforting strokes. "The break'll do you both good. It'll be alright."
After a while, I re-emerge from the bedroom, leaving Rosa hopefully a little less depressed. Cay's leaning on the counter in the kitchen, waiting for me.
"Who was on the phone?"
