Maxxie: Christmas BreakfastMature

I think we more than made up for what we missed last night. And what we're gonna miss over the next couple days...

Once he's got his breath back, Hadley cuddles up to me, and despite the fact I'm still panting slightly, I wrap my arms around him.

"It should be Christmas more often," he chuckles and I laugh a little breathlessly.

"There you go. That was your present. Treasure it." He giggles and kisses me. I kiss back, smiling as he huggles me more, resting his head on my chest. "Mind the boobs," I chuckle.

"Your boobs are comfy," he chuckles too and kisses my chest. I hum, wishing we could stay here like this for longer, but...

"We should probably get back, soon," I sigh.

"Do we have to?"

"I dun wanna," I whine. As much as I love his family, they're all nuts. And they're obviously going to rip the shit out of us for not being able to wait.

"I'm s'posed to be at Caleb's, I can just say I ended up staying the night. What's your excuse, mister 'oh, I think I left something in the car'?" he giggles and I groan.

"I dunno, that was a shit excuse. I was thinking with my cock and not my brain - or whatever's left of it." He laughs at that and pout, "you're not s'posed to laugh!" he giggles an apology and I whine, earning myself another kiss on the chest.

After a phone call from Cay telling us to get back to the house, we trudged out to the car and returned to the madhouse for the night. Still, at least we get to snuggle in a single bed together. I mean, there's not much room, but it's a perfect spooning opportunity.

Breakfast goes surprisingly smoothly. The Christmas breakfast with my parents would consist of granddad reminding us that we were lucky to even be alive to have Christmas, my mum watching some godawful movie, or some charity thing to which she would go "ooh look at all those starving children," while wrapped in a brand new, fluffy dressing gown and unwrapping a box of Chanel perfume from dad, while I would secretly wish I'd never been woken up, or wishing I could stay with Alex's family instead.

Well, I say it went smoothly. It went as smoothly as a breakfast can go when Momma Smith is ignoring Cayden. As in, completely blanking him. I frowned at it slightly, but I didn't want to ruin the whole day by accidentally starting a fight, which I seem to have a knack for with these people.

"Does anyone want anything else or are we all good?" Momma Smith asks.

"Some toast would be nice if you're offering," Ava says through a mouthful of toast.

"Can you pass the milk, Mom?" Cay tries to get her attention, but she blanks him again and I feel my brow tug down a little as I hand him the milk instead.

"Thanks, Max," he says with a tiny smile that I match as Momma fixes some toast for Ava. I watch as both Hadley and Ryan steal a piece, trying not to giggle. I'd berate Hadley for stealing from his possibly-pregnant sister, but to be honest, I'm just glad he's got some form of appetite today. Ava sulks and tut, poking Hadley in the side.

"Wha?" he asks, taking a bite out of the toast.

"What did I do?"

"I believe that was for your sister, gorgeous," I smile, pecking him on the cheek.

He pouts a little, protesting, "He stole some too."

Ryan pulls a horrified face."Don't drag me into this." I giggle and shake my head, glad that this is actually shaping up to be an alright Christmas, despite Momma Smith blanking her son.
