"Artemis," said Melody, stepping forward. "I am Melody. Daughter of Demeter."
"I know," Artemis replied, stepping out of the spring and coming towards us. A sympathetic smile crossed her face. "And I know what you're looking for." Melody nodded solemnly, portraying how all of us were feeling. Our uneasy feeling, the way we felt that there was a drawback to her statement. We were right. After that she said,
"However, I don't know if I can help you." None of us were surprised by that statement. Nothing ever goes as planned when a god is involved. Pheobe stepped forward and asked,
"Is there a reason why you wouldn't be able to help us?" Artemis nodded, but said nothing about telling us what the reason. None of us asked more, we saw the seriousness in her face.
She then went into slight detail about what we needed to do to find Aria. We listened silently then set off on our trek, but not before she mentioned to us that we didn't have all of the information, just what she could give us. We knew that this would be a major drawback, but we continued our journey anyway. It was all we could do. After all, the survival of the world was in our hands.
